Calcium Silicate Pipe Insulation is for use on indoor, outdoor and underground applications where operating temperatures range up to 1200° F. ® Calcium Silicate Pipe Insulation maintains excellent insulation value over its full recommended service range.
These rigid mandrel wound pipe sections are strong, preformed mineral wool insulation with excellent thermal performance. Each section is cut and hinged for easy application. Mineral Fibre is ideal for steam and process pipe systems operating at temperatures up to 1200°F (650°C) where energy conservation, personnel safety, acoustic control and fire control are concerns.
Calcium Silicate Pipe Insulation is available in a wide range of sizes, 1 to 4 * inches in ½ inch increments to fit all standard piping, ½ inch through 24 inch. Double or triple layer thickness is available.
Pipe - Pipe insulation is applied with tie wire or bands fastened on desired centers and covered with specified lagging suitable for intended process or utility application.
Block - V-Groove and Moulded Radius block used on equipment or large diameter piping is applied with bands and finished like pipe. Fittings, elbows and tees are applied in the same way.
